PROJECTS

Our firm pioneered the government-entity use of 179D and has managed the allocation of $250 Million in allocations by successfully connecting legal, accounting, and public finance resources to successfully design and implement 179D policies. EE has been engaged by state and local agencies as well as been consulted by the United States General Services Administration (GSA), Department of Defense (DOD), and Department of Energy (DOE) on implementation of the deduction's special rule.   Efficiency Energy developed its 179D EP Act Coordinator Services to bring accounting, legal, engineering and public finance resources together to provide a complete solution to a Government Entity’s needs in managing this incentive.  Our firm provides the working knowledge of 179D to interact with financial, capital planning, budgeting, facilities, and sustainability resources to establish and manage the 179D process and stretch taxpayer-funded investments in energy efficient buildings.
